So 235/40R17 shouldn't catch on anything? I have some issue with this washer fluid tank, dunno why, nothing seems bent or broken there yet it is very very close on full lock.

I run 235/40 x 18s R888s on track and have no problems, other than it catching the back liner on full lock at parking speed, so the inch smaller should be even better.
Do not run the suspension too low, as not only will you fuck up the front roll centre, you will catch the top of the liners on big compressions (wearing through them).
