1st thing i checked was their website and they only seem to show defender up to 2002, and i think 2007 onwards is when the dash changed and is very different


Change isn't the word- shit thats different, looking though its standard din pins to get it out- but the rear of it might be very different- its actually VERY similar to a new Disco dash but you have to take most of the dash apart as the stereo's are screwed in.

You are unlikely to be able to chop into it as it will be can bus and no switched live- the Parrot kit needs a switched live to work.

Might have an external amp too- which again is a no no for a parrot.

Parrot do normally do the add ons to connect to none ISO stereos- ring them- the website might not be up to date.

If you are that bothered about your warrenty etc I would get this done by a proffesional.

Also looking at the dash it looks like someone without the neccesary skills OR balls would have a job of running the cable for the control box.

Personally if I was you I would walk away from doing that......
