I was expecting it though. I did about 80 road miles to scrub them in for trackdays. Then went back to normal quiet road tyres.

I was only mentioning it because if someone wants to run them on a fairly quiet daily driver (as i expect the St220 is) the road noise would soon outweigh and perceived improvements in grip and roadholding IMO.
