i ve had my frs 2 years now and apart from the fuel the running costs are fairly cheap compared to a cossy or evo. the serviceing isnt that much different to normal cars and touch wood mines done 58k now and only needed a couple of sets of front tyres, thermostat housing (common fault) and a idle speed control valve (£50 ish quid from ford) as performance cars go i cant fault it for reliabilty and running costs, and it is a every day car. Ive got a decat and dream science (race map) on mine as the performance as standard is a bit shit for what you would expect, the only downside for the frs is the fuel, on local trips with a few blasts now and again i see about 170 miles to 55ish quid of super hope this helps but i would go for it and get one
