Lewis isn't the hero up, on the pedestal, that people make him out to be. He made a childish error to ruin his tyres like that, and if you watched the slow-mo you could visibly see the damage he had done to them.

as ive said im a lewis and mclaren fan and yes i agree with both penalties and yes it was a bad move but branded it 'childish' is a bit over the top.

I have seen every other drive on that grid make mistakes and it happens in races.

hamilton has been pretty much error free this season until the last few races and has managed to lead the championship despite having a slower car than the ferrari

people jump on his back saying hes got it on a plate but thats just absolute nonsense the boy is a born world class racer you cant buy or create his talent with ££££'ssss

apart from messing up this race he has been oustanding

i just hope the cracks arent opening up again like last season

hes not perfect whos is ? (senna and scumacher certainly werent)

he is british and deserves our backing
