My friend tried to install trip computer from Mondeo MK2 to Escort MK7 with engine 1.8 16V and ECU EEC-V. We found that fuel flow is on PIN 43 of ECU, but trip computer not work. I do not know why, because in Mondeo is connected to the same PIN 43 and work. To the speed sensor is connected ok, because trip computer count in km or milage. Do you think, that it can be in program inside ECU ?
We tried other three trip computers, but nothing.
