for a xr3i on 175 k its now eaten its 2nd alternator in 3 years

im not sure what i have replaced it with 1st ones i think was from a RS turbo but the one i've just put on im not so sure, im not confident in its charging ability

i was told the the alt ampage was dependent on wheel size of the car it came from 13" had one 14" another and 15" another (in escorts)

basically i want to know what car came with the biggest amp rating that will bolt on to a ford bracket

im sure i have herd Granada Scorpio in the past but im unsure i want to get one and have it fully reconned im sick of these problems
