Default Replacing Cosworth fuel pipes with braided hose

Hi all,

I'm planning on replacing the standard fuel pipes on my 4x4 Cosworth with braided hoses over the next few months.

Have been looking at where I can run the new braided hoses under the car, I don't really want to run them along the same run as the current steel pipe as there isn't really enough clipping points to support the pipes properly.

Have been thinking about running them on the side wall of the transmission tunnel, have seen this done on the inside of the car for track cars but not seen it done under the car.

Is there any reason anyone can think of as to why I can't run the hose along the side wall of the transmission tunnel on the underside of the car?
Will this be legal for MOT purposes?

Thanks
