i always assumed (being into kit cars) you dont legally need mudguards, unless u drive in rain or mud, and in this case u carry a set of detachable guards in the boot!
hi there.i have motd many kit cars with wheels sticking out the rear arches,and have never failed them,although i will have to check on this at work tomorrow on the mot computer and will let you know exactly the rules on this.please bear with me till tomorrow.i know the police dont like it as i got warned for it years ago
