Both are a waste of time in a 3dr . The 3dr shells need triangulating forwards and backwards to the pillars , floor and chassis to stop flexing . Cages are not just about safety they are about structural integrity but if you are intent on fitting one make sure the brackets to the floor are welded properly to the inner sills !
