It is safe mate, its fast scanned and runs reduced power depending of the image size.
Also, if the scanner fails, the beam is shut off within 40 milliseconds !
Also, the air density is measured as an interlock as effects smoke helps dissipate the power and make it look good !

We have it independantly safety certified at a cost of £800+vat per year.

I only run it at a maximim of 6 watts peak to prolong tube and power supply life.
