hi there
is the reading your getting after motorway use or around town and i mean around town with hard driving
did the temp go this high before conversion
are you running same boost
also have you checked you dont have any air in the coolant system
as its easy done
a swirl pot would help things a bit as it will take the bubbles out of the system as i beleave
are your fans in front of the cooler blowing or sucking through
also are they mounted on the cooler or in between cooler and rad
running a car like this with no thermostat is going tobe a git durring the cold months as the car will take longer to warm up
have you checked by eye the condition of the rad through the holes ,does it look clean
Does the car use water much
if it uses water alot and your getting bubbling might be head gasket as the bubbles are a sign ofvaparising of the water which turns the water to steam in affect bubbles due to exspanion
or it could be like mine runs at a low temp all day long under any condition of driving but i get a bit of bubbling when i switch off as its air rising to the highest point (exspansion tank)
i would start the car from cold and leave it on tick over and watch the exspanion tank and look for bubbles then
does your fans kick in as it reaches the (m) of norm
is the fan switch ok
tobe honest with you its hard to say without the car in front of me i would also do a sniff test to exspansion tank for co2
