Being turbo'd does not make the valve any heavier, which is why the spring is there to close it, if it has a significantly higher rpm with the turbo then I would or if done over around 50/60,000 it wouldn't hurt anyway.

being turbo means that the valve has more pressure on the back of it, acting against the spring.
pipers springs seem to work, but it all depends on how far you want to go with it.
