The standard stuff on the newest Escort is getting on for 12yrs old now, ok in some cases the car might not of done many miles but the setup was a compromise from the factory. If you start using the power you'll soon find the standard suspension lacking & thats before you get to the brakes. Just my opinon.

& you'll be looking at more than a grand for a good road setup, you can spend that on just the Adj rear beam (before fitting)
