Went up couple years ago and didn't pay, so not sure there!
I've planned it to go M42 towards Bromsgrove, A448 Kidderminster, A443 Bridgnorth, then A458 Shrewsbury.
Not knowing these roads don't know if this is likely to add on the 20 mins multimap says it will?
I know my tomtom tries to take you motorway at all costs!

take the toll road, it's SOOOO much better that slumming it through birmingham
if you are in a car it's going to cost either £3.50 or £4.50 but you can properly spank it along the whole stretch if you want
cuts out a huge ammount of time
