Default 4x4 Cosworth Fuel Hose

Need to replace the fuel line on my 93 Saph Cosworth (flexible hose from the steel pipe running under the car to the fuel rail)

I went to Ford on saturday to get a new hose but the part is no longer serviced and they have none left in stock. Have measured the internal diameter of the old fuel hose which is 6mm. Was planning on using a length of rubber fuel injection hose which is rated to 10 bar of pressure, will this be okay?

Also would normal fuel hose clips be strong enough to hold the hose on the fuel rail?
