I haven't really read the whole thread, but I can say when I think of buying slicks, or getting a gearbox rebuilt, the username Marco Polo doens't pop into my head.

For some reason Reyland is there for tyres, and gearboxman for boxes.

I never even knew you did any of that.... I did know you had an RS2000 track car that you sold. And of course your 3 door. And you were going to replace the RS2k with a GpA Escos running RWD Cossie gear.

How did that go?
