It's only costing you a a stamp and a piece of paper! worth a try.....
I did tyhe same on a aproject about 3 yrs back and got sent loads of stuff....main things were FULL car set of deflex bushes, dials, exhaust, springs.

I wrote about 60 letters and got about 5 replies with stuff so got to be worth a try! Big companies have a budget for advertising.
