Want the people of PF, especially those into watches, for a bit of advice regarding buying one for my dad. He is turning 60 in a few weeks and thought of getting him one.

Ain't got buckets of cash but willing to listen to any suggestions but I'm going to put a price cap at roughly £500 say.

Also, does anybody know a good place to buy one? Online or high street retail?
