That'd be my guess....only times i've seen them unplugged is when theyre fucked solenoids so the owners/tuners
unplug them.
It's mainly for cold start and things like aircon kicking in at idle etc... not really a problem I wouldnt have thought.....and the sensors arent cheap so tend to be left unplugged.
