and seeing as the strut tops will flex more if the shell flexes, the bit bit of metal stopping the shell from flexing in the saph will mean these will flex less as well
think about it again dojj.....then think how a SEPERATE piece of metal bonded to cardboard/fabric shelf, thats sits in plastic notches and rests in plastic trim pieces with 10mm gaps either side could actually help shell flex in the slightest.
