First car I owned and drive the min I passed my test was a modded R5GTT, by 19 I was driving a R5GTT with a RR proven 197bhp@6700rpm and weighed under 800kg (fibreglass panels etc), so even when I first started driving I needed mentalness to be happy.
Even when I was little I was being driven around in XB Falcons with big block V8s, and V12 Jag XJSs, which prob didnt help, its always taken a lot to scare/entertain me. Thats why I used to do properly ridiculous downhill mountainbike stuff with no helmet or nothing, stuff so daft I wouldnt even dare do today wearing full safety shit.
Had totally stripped 3dr Cossie with 400bhp by 21 (had it since 20, but wasnt as powerful at first), and even that I felt couldve done with more power sometimes. Until it was running greens and 25psi boost my old GTT was faster, it would eat stg1 Cossies alive.
The GTR project spiralled in to stupidness mostly as I was going in friends 650bhp GTRs and not finding them fast enough for me, so needed to do more. I bought the car with 550bhp in mind...
And its only got worse since, as due to my job etc i've lost count of the 500bhp or even 600bhp+ cars ive either driven or been in, been in cars with 1000bhp, done 60 in high 2s or low 3s (i forget), done 197.6mph at brunters, been sideways at over 100mph in various drift cars, etc etc.
And TBH only thing thats ever felt "shit me, this is a bit much, would never get tired of this" is the Dragon RX7, and thats proven to accelerate way way faster than even a Veyron, and due to being RWD and a lot less fancy, is a fucking deathtrap, which of course adds to the entertainment.
Lots of other things have been fun, fantastic, but nothing that shocked/scared me, even tho most people would be screaming. Im immune to it more than most I guess.
I reckon due to the nature of the car, the weight, the RWD, the grip or lack of, 700-750 would take me a LONG time, if ever, to get bored of in the Chaser I reckon.
