I would get it running first, then change what you mention, plus fuel filter.
Before you put the new plugs in(old ones out) wind it over on the starter to get oil pressure up, when mine was sat it wouldn't build up, but starting up is okay as it will soon build after a second ot two and engine is not under load.
Just warm up on a fast idle as likely to be a bit grumpy to start with, especially with old fuel.
