been putting 10w-40 semi synth in for a bit now , seems to use alot and smoke on overun , would a flush filter and silkoline pro s help this , before i shell out on new turbo and various other bits to try & cure .

also could i use the pro s on the missus's golf 1.8t to top up , just had oil change on vw recommended oil ( can't remmenber which one it was tho ?)
