Needs to be pretty precise, if your hole is out by 1mm it will read the TDC signals a mm sooner or a mm late. How many degrees out will that knock your timing? Can your management compensate for this? The gap between sensor and trigger is about 0.6mm too, so get it wrong and your car will misfire, not run, or end up with a CPS jammed in the flywheel - I'm assuming your flywheel has the marks for the CPS to read?
