Old fords and electrical problems go together like bangers and mash

The dash mounted bulb warning lamps coming on is a common fault and is usually down to a dodgy connection in the multiplug that connects to the tail light. If the nearside warning lamp flickers or comes on then disconnect the multiplug on that side and check the male connection, usually a spade terminal is bent or verdigried, give it a clean, apply some electrical contact grease to the spades and then reconnect, similairly if its the drivers side follow the same procedure.
The engine management light is a different fault altogether and someone else may be able to help you with that
