So, if you have no mot on your car, and crash due to a defect on the car that would have been picked up on an mot - say 4 bold tyres for example. The insurance can surely refuse to pay you out???

If this is the case, then driving a car with no mot must invalidate the insurance?? and surely if an eager bobby wanted to throw everything at you, surely this could also be one of the convictions??

Don't mind being corrected, it is just what i have always been informed, so if it's wrong, then put the record straight.

What about modifications that are not declaired?? why do coppers check all of this, surely it is the same principle, it is something that would invalidate the insurcance.

Wouldn't mind knowing what the facts are.
