bad news, and a silly mistake, but you got off lightly to be honest.
failure to stop and no insurance could both have been thrown at you if the copper were in a bad mood. which would have ment a court apperance and points and fines.
mot is a non point endorasable offenct, but some cops view no mot as a void on the insurance.
Id be glad with the £90 fine, and learnt my lesson to use a calender/diary.
