I have finished restoring my 90 Spec XR3i EFI a bit back, however now I want a bit more power.

Which route would be the best to go for engine wise, a turbo conversion, a zetec? I have a couple of £, but dont want to spend massive amounts as may be getting a house soon and dont want my car just to be abandoned half way through.
