Getrag are just one of Ford Group's tranmission product arms (the other being Tremec) - there's nothing in the name that means a gearbox is automatically stronger. AFAIK the sportka gearbox is just an IB5. It's only a 1.6 N/A engine so I doubt they would have wasted money on anything else!!
