its more than likly a sensor problem, the ecos ecu has a built in protection at about 3-4 k revs to protect from large welly and a failed sensor
had a similar problem with a mates and did all the sensors but never thought of the lambda sensor, once we changed that all was sound,so might be worth borrowing one to see as there a tad expensive
