i have 2 laptops

one is a new laptop hp

intel centrino duo core 1500
dedicated grahics card
2gb of ram
on vista

the other is VERY OLD its my mapping laptop dell c400

pentium 3
866MHZ
384mb ram
on xp



the old laptop loads in around a 3rd of the time that my new one does

and general use my new laptop locks up more than the old one, ive been using vista for 8 months now and ive had enough

going back to xp to make my new expensive laptop faster than my years old £40 one
