CERN did an open day a little while back in Geneva where you could see the LHC and a few other projects, presentations etc, looked awesome on the web pages they did about it, if I'd have found out about it sooner I think I'd have gone, it's anticipated to be the only time the LHC will ever be open to the public .

They reckon the possibility of a sustained black hole is very remote, but if it does happen, least you lot won't be here to give them the big "We told you so"
