but firdt problem was when ignition turned on the coil would spark all the time

i changed everything and couldnt work it out

so phoned pete at rs specialists who i got the loom off and he said he would change it for me, big thanks to him as i went down on a riday night at 9.30pm so big thanks for letting me come down that late

new loom was tested and the coil didnt spark so was very happy

anyhow heres the pics

new loom being fitted

then me and my friend karl (sexr3i) needed to get the driveshafts in, hubs on etc

well this was a complete nightmare as everything was new and tight and being the longer driveshafts nothing wanted to fit but we got there in the end

brakes were all bleed up and was looking rather well on the wheels

only set back is i have a leaking rear caliper from the pipe so will get this done asap

brakes and wheels

i started to fit the interior

big thaks to monster for my gauge pods with a nice little touch instead of the rs logos (will show later on once the car is finally finished in a couple of months though )

only prob is the clock ones i need to sort something out regarding spacing which ill do ata later date

so i have my oil temp, volts, oil press in the top 3
fuel pressure and egt gauge in teh clock pad

and boost and air fuel in the a pillar pod with some stainless dials with 180 speedo (like it will ever do that lol)

now was the seats

i already have full saf leather so the back seats went in just got to work out a way to hold them in lace but they are sturdy for the time being

the fronts now as its going to be a rouse sport theme on the car i need rouse seats

i already have cloth rouse seats but these are staying in the attic

a couple of years ago i bought some half leather granada recaros which are exactlt the same as rouse bar the headrests as they use escos headrests

so what i did was take my leather out and replcaed it into the granada ones

this is the end result

whats left of the seats i stripped are my safs back and bases with the cloth out the granada which are back in the attic now as the saf backs are quite mint qith no much wear if any

another thing i like about the seats is theres a handle you have to pull t get the leg extensions out instead of trying to pull the saf seats out lol

here they are fitted aswell

ive also had rouse sport seat badges made up for me,slowpoke,doo,ark1 and slowpokes friend so these will go on later on

another thanks to karl as he came round yesterday and started to repair my arches for me

plan is to get all the bits painted this week and on the car as i only have 2 weeks left to get it road worthy

but more on this when the time comes and while were doing the work

repaired arches

and a pic of the engine bay almost finished

just a little tidying to do and awaiting on my boost hose for the turbo

more updates soon as it may be going to reyland for a hydraulic clutch fitted now as i have a major problem with the clutch

Love the seats, excellent job
