Given the weather we have had lately, I would say full wets would be a better choice for normal road use .

As Chip has said, they provide a surprising amount of grip in damp conditions, but the tread pattern just can't shift any large quantities of water, so anywhere where there are visible puddles = aquaplaning, which can be quite scary .
