The crank sensor is only there to pre-determain TDC, the EDIS unit will fire a spark 90degrees before top dead centre then it will send a signal to the EEC setting a binary adress for each cylinder TDC then the EEC will reset the spark for Top Dead Centre. Is it possible that the cam is 360degrees out?? It should have 2 turns per 1 crank revaloution.
