those sorrt of mops can be fine ive had a cheapy one for a year

when i bought mine i went to my local paint supplier and bought a mop head and compound to match, you wont want anything too heavy, cheapish stuff is the 3m finesse it or somin like that its called, anyways if your starting just before you hit the car id submerge the mop in water (just the head lol) spin it to get rid of the loose water then smear some on the panel and go for it. you will pick it up just be careful, it is kinda an art as cant go to quick but not to slow, i run over a panel slowely then run back over it form start again unitl 90 percent of compound is gone, quick wash to remove excess thats caught in rubbers etc then a good polish

you can also just dip the rag in water then add the compound to it, try it out on a old shitter wont take you long to get used to it
