That's the way to do it

I was looking at doing this.... It ends up being a nicely balanced package with weight distros between 60/40 and 48/52 front-rear depending on which engine / rear end combo you use. The only practical problem becomes ground clearance, as unless you use a custom tunnel there's no room for exhausts other than between the ground and the floor pan. The spec I was gonna go for was a 302 with a blower up the front, and the 01-04 Cobra IRS at the back - only mounts from 4 subframe points so getting geometry right and the fab work are pretty straight forward (only works with FRS arches though if you want decent size tyres).
