The law as written and meant to protect employers and employees from each other.
or the version of the law employers choice to use?

It's all a matter of opinion, it's not black and white.

An example; Employee has unauthorised (unlawful) deductions from wages.

An employer calls it money with-held, perfectly lawful.

I had a long discussion with our M.D over this, we agreed to disagree, he still withheld the money.
