How many previous generations had cash to spare at the end of the month to do some of the things you read about on here? My mum and dad both worked when I was growing up and we didn't have some of the luxuries you see plenty of folks with today, I reckon we've been heading for this fall for a long time and now its here.
My guess is if you're struggling now then brace yourself as its only going to get worse before it gets better.

makes me smile when people 'expect' to have a foreign holiday and run a second car and own a house all on average wages.
sad fact of life that the country has been enjoying itself for far too long and it needs a diet/detox for a while now
most annoying thing is that everyone suffers for a few, just because a whole bunch of people have racked up credit cards and stupid mortgages based on sack all, everyone will feel the pinch in the housing market for a while!
