but how do you know when the diff/box is full enough to have filled the cooler and pipework and pump as well as the necessary ammount needed for the diff/box wihtout overfilling it?
I just described how in my post you nuggart

. As soon as the oil starts coming out of the return, you know that the system is full, and can unbridge the thermo-switch and re-top up the diff to the fill point (5mm below the level)
