this isn't a sly cheap method of advertising my stuff for sale before anyone says it is if it don't sell i'll keep it

what is your take of flogging stuff you've been given by people as presents?

i've got a camera and a printer but it's not as if i'd ever have got one myself as iv'e already got one that does what i need it to do so i've decided to get rid

this is the first time i've done this and i'm just thinking what do i say to the person who gave it to me when they ask "how did you like it then?"

indiands never give recipts (mainly to stop peole figuring ut how much you've spent on the item, but also because "uncle" might have got it a bit hookey from duty free or the like )

so, should i be floggin stuff?
does anyone else flog stuff they've been given?
should it be flogged because it's surplus to requirements?
should i be keeping it just to show off to people that i've been given such a great present?
etc?
