Not if the generator was underground also,and was in a padded room with the fumes being filtered there are was of disgusing stuff if you put your mind to things ! anything can be done! just need the know how thats all...

As for solar panels they have advanced a hell of a lot these day's why do you think houses have them on their homes.. all these things added to their power requirments do help..
