to pay money to make alterations to replace a head which comes with the engine for one which unless extensively ported does not come close seems odd.
Ive driven a number of ZVH's and don't think they are a touch on a well built CVH which revs a lot nicer imho
CVH or Zetec are the only choices imho,
A well built CVH is pricey though, fair enough they can really rev but won't touch a ZVH for torque....Or power pound for pound.
I'd build a ZT now given the choice but would deffo still buy a ZVH'd escort.
BUT money no object it would be a all steel CVH hands down
