Hello All

yet another sky thread Basically having received a letter off them today telling me my subscription is going up "£2 as of August to £40 (sports package) i rung them up to tell them i wasnt very happy and was considering cancelling They said that due to how long i'd been with them they would do me a free install and supply of Sky plus with no hidden charges......great i thought! But then they said as i dont have a phone line that i would need to pay £25 to have the system configured somehow which would mean an additional cable of some sort on the install? is this right?????

I basically said that surely the £25 can be waived seeing as they have had 13 years of loyalty from me on high end packages,to which i got nowhere despite being stern but polite, and when i asked him why a normal sky digital package of Sports was £40 but sky talk, broadband and a top subscription is only £25 per month he couldnt answer why i pay more for less..

Just need to know if theyre right about having to somehow configure the system because i dont have a landline.
