Yeah it does but as said many times on this thread, this is most definately NOT the case here. The previous owner is reasonably well known in the RSOC and has been in almost constant contact with me and Rob (the lad who's car it was) and has gone out of his way supplying info on the car so Rob can sort his claim out. Working with Rob today and he says the insurance should be paying out shortly. They sent a "private detective" type bloke to check his house, area etc and to check his story on behalf of the insurer. I suppose to them, someone has bought an old escort, insured it for thousands and then hey presto, 4 days later it's gone !!! Police have not even been in touch since it went, even to say "no news, sorry". At least if they did that it would look like they had'nt forgotten it has been stolen. Just another stolen car and a 22 year old Escort to them.
