Wish I could agree with you there, compare this one to the very first TOTB! The first one was amazing, you felt part of something special, lucky to be there and could see everything without having to make your way through deep crowds. If you wanted to see the drag start you could, if you wanted to see the handling you could. It IS a good show, the grandstands are way too small (I understand its no easy/cheap thing to organise getting mobile grandstands), I was there from half nine and the only time I saw empty seats was at the dinnertime break. I went to watch a show of amazing cars and hopefully get some decent pictures (not too much to expect for £20). The cars were great, the action good, photo opportunites were limited as far as the drag strip was concerned. For the money I just think the spectators get left out, and this is based on what it used to be like, victim of its own success comes to mind. Not sure I appreciate been called a chopper but obviously you know me better than I do ?????
