Default Does the right exhaust system make a big difference

Ive finally got my car running really well and im ready to get it mapped at MSD. Only thing is i had a de-cat pipe made up simpson racing exhausts and they basically told me my current exhaust setup is shit. Im running a trust electrical four branch and full magnex system. They have told me if i get one of there equal length manifolds and one of there systems with 2.5 inch bore (mines 2inch at the mo) it will improve my car no end. Apperntly the current exhaust system will be strangling it at high revs.

does this sound right as my current setup wasnt cheap and a full system with manifold off them is 825 so alot of money to just waste for no real gain.

So im a but stuck now if im gonna see some good gains then i will hold off on mapping till i can offord this system. but if the gain is really small it aint worth the wait or the amount its gonna cost.

Dunno what to do there systems are well bling but maybe to bling for my state of tune i dunno. any advice appreciated
