with regards to the oil light iv done an efi coversion with an xr3i compleate loom and ofac ecu. I still have the original mfi clocks in the car. Gonna try putting the xrxi clocks in there to try and solve the problem
As for the alternator it came from a sierra which i fitted when i done the the cps conversion. I must say that im not sure i have wired it correctly. There are three connections, one for the neutral which i know is right and two positives. Originally i just connected the live to one of thease terminals but battery light still on so i then linked the two positive terminals with a piece of wire and still the battery light was on. Looking at the sierra wireing diagrams that should have done the trick. But must be missing someting. Ill take a pic if it will help
