It's been a whilse since i've been on here.
Some personal reasons why i was not able to put the time into my project..
(Renovating the inside/outside of our house, getting married, the birth of our first child etc)
Haven't been to the UK since Fiesta in the Park 2006, but also that will change as we've planned a long weekend in the UK, and visit Ford Fair 2008.. (with our club Ford Team Zuid-Holland) .. .so might see you all there..
But.. now it's time for some updates.
In the last year...
- Lowered the frontbumper using a Renault Laguna Splitter, underneath the MCrallying splitter.
- Placed a baileys (black powdercoated) oil breather
- Raised the back of the car (removed the -30mm and placed some FRST standard items) to get the car level again (front is still lowered using -30mm apex springs)
- replaced the (not yet rusted) rear quarter window bolts.. by Inox ones (not those aluminium ones you can buy in ebay, but proper inox ones, made by "hessel" of Fiestaclub.nl)
- Replaced a cracked front fog light (a mint set is hard to find in Holland)
- Replaced the alloy fuel cap (with seperate key) for the standard Ford item, but with Inox cover.
But the most important part for me.. the engine got setup finally (after 5 years)
- 0FAC management with an Ahmed Bayjoo chip running standard injectors, cossie fuelpump.. and doing 198,5 BHP and 213ft/lb of torque... @ 15 psi and still running within the safty margins of fueling.
The front now looks like this (on a cloudy day)
LOW down:
The rear quarter window bolts: (using my old phone)
Leveled the car, using standard rear coils, still driveable.. and low
Fitted the breather:
